LIP BLUSH
Lip Blush (also known as Aqua Lips, Stardust Lips, Gloss & Go Lips) is a form of cosmetic tattoo that gives a "your lips but better" look. Creating symmetry and enhancing your natural lip colour, a lip blush gives your lips a healthy glow. Just add gloss and go!
OMBRE LIPS
Ombre Lips is a technique that creates a more intense lip border and softens towards the middle. A great technique for blanched lips to create a fuller looking lip.
FULL LIP TATTOO
A Full Lip Tattoo creates uniform colour over the entire lip. It is also less transparent that than other techniques.
NO LIP TREATMENT IS MAINTENANCE FREE. You will need to refresh the colour as it fades, usually around 2-5 years.

BEFORE YOUR COSMETIC TATTOO APPOINTMENT
There are many factors to consider before deciding on cosmetic tattooing.
Firstly, unrealistic expectations, let's just get a reality check...
Your lips will NEVER be perfect. Your face isn't symmetrical, so your lips never will be. In fact, sometimes making them symmetrical can leave our face looking a little weird. Additionally, I always try to work with what you've got, as much as possible. You cannot tattoo outside of the natural lip border. Not even to make them look bigger or fuller.
Tattooing is still IN the skin and cannot replicate the vibrant effect of lipstick. The effect of lip gloss can not be produced by a tattoo.
People with lip filler will swell more. Be prepared. The healing process can be uncomfortable. Like having extreme wind burn. You are also likely to get a cold sore from the treatment, even if you've never had one before.
Before any tattooing starts, you will have a full consultation, and you will get to preview the shape & colour. You can make adjustments, however, if I'm not comfortable with the adjustments, no tattooing will go ahead. While it's important you love your lips, it's also important that I'm happy to put my name on them. After all, it's like my artwork on a walking billboard for my business.
Cosmetic Tattoo, in particular Lip Tattooing, TAKES HOURS TO COMPLETE. Please don't come to your appointment expecting to be done in an hour.
DOES IT HURT? Mostly, no. I ask you apply a numbing cream, such as NUMIT (from your chemist dispensary), 1hr prior to your appointment & cover with small pieces of plastic wrap. This stops the numbing cream from drying out, making it more effective. Cosmetic tattooing is penetrating the skin with a needle, so some discomfort is expected, however all measures will be taken to keep you as comfortable as possible. Most clients say that waxing hurts more.
DO NOT BOOK YOUR COSMETIC TATTOO APPOINTMENT A WEEK BEFORE AN IMPORTANT EVENT. Your lips will be REALLY intense from day 1-3 after your appointment. They will then be scabby and patchy from day 3-10.
DO NOT BOOK YOUR COSMETIC TATTOO APPOINTMENT IF YOU PLAN ON SWIMMING WITHIN 3 WEEKS. You will need to avoid submerging your face in water completely until all the scabs have naturally come off. After the scabs come off, you will need to cover your lips with Vaseline to protect them from the water.
YOU CANNOT HAVE COSMETIC TATTOOING IF:
YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING
YOU ARE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED
YOU KELOID SCAR
YOU ARE TAKING SOME PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS
So ask yourself... Are you ready?
